I did say I would send you a picture of the above after I had renovated its equipment.

I have given the bike to my daughter .. who now lives in Longeaton .. and suggested she takes it to you for insurance valuation.

It looks lovely and original to the era .. we are all very proud of it and of your workmanship too.

Rachel, my daughter has been through a hard time .. as have all of us, as she lost her sister last year to Leukemia. I am hoping that, like her husband , she will find solace in quiet country lanes and get back her usual zest for life.

I feel sure her beautiful Mercian will go a long way towards that.

Thanks once again for bringing life back to a  beautifully engineered, hand-made frame.
