Thought you might be interested in my Mercian . I bought it in 1955 and still own it . It was bought as a kit , to avoid purchase tax and I still have the origional bill of sale . The frame number is 3855. I eventually found it on the left rear wheel lug . The model is described as an ” all purpose frame” used as a tourer . It had a repaint in the 1970’s with some accessory changes but little use since then .
