This is my "new" Mercian.  Rescued from a local bike shop, on consignment, and lovingly restored.  It's a 1987, King of Mercia with a Campy Athena Group.  The bike isn't perfect, having clearly been a working machine...but it rides sensationally, is lighter than expected (531c tubing) and is now in great shape.  I turn 50 this year, and I plan on growing old with this bike.
